Over several years dogs that I have bred have been reunited with their owners, in one case the dog was only lost for 45 minutes, so quickly found and the owner very happy. A great service I highly recommend to all my puppy buyers Bel Adele Kennels Border Collies

We had a beautiful 2½ yo pedigree male Red & Tan Dobermann join our family in May 2021. He was surrendered by his previous owner directly to a rural rescue organisation. The rescue organisation has an arrangement with a vet clinic in suburban Brisbane and they billet and rehome animals on the rescue organisation's behalf. It was from the vet clinic that we took over responsibility for his care and became his furever home. When we took him home we were his 4th home in the space of one month! The rescue organisation submitted the Transfer of Ownership to Central Animal Records as they were paying the transfer fee. I kept checking on the Central Animal Records website to see whether his ownership had been transferred to us and I kept getting the response that he was listed under a different owner. I repeatedly contacted the rescue organisation chasing the transfer of ownership. Three months after our much loved boy joined our family I emailed Central Animal Records direct together with all the supporting documentation I had proving I was his new owner - Council Registration, Pedigree Certificate in my name, copy of the Adoption Contract and payment receipt asking how I could finalise the transfer myself. CAR confirmed they had received a Transfer of Ownership for him but because I was not listed as the new owner they had returned it to the rescue organisation because the previous owner's signature was also not provided. Central Animal Records sent a very detailed reply advising me how to apply for a Transfer of Ownership without having the previous owner's contact details. They told me how to create an account (I already had one for another Dobermann) and the procedure for submitting a Transfer of Ownership application through my online account. I followed the instructions in Ebony's email, submitted the online form (it is such a simple process - I couldn't believe how quick and easy it was) and immediately received an email acknowledging receipt of my application. CAR advised that the online change of ownership process can take up to 24 days to finalise, as the current listed owner on the database is given 23 days to respond to the notifications they are sent, advising of the request. If they do not respond within the 23 day time frame, the dog will automatically transfer into your name on the 24th day. I couldn't believe it when 1 hour and 24 minutes after submitting the online Transfer of Ownership application form I received a confirmation email that the transfer had been finalised and that our beautiful boy was officially ours. I logged into my CAR account and there he was! The exceptional customer service we received from Ebony was truly amazing and we are so grateful to have the last piece of documentation finalised. He is now fully ours and we couldn't be happier. We now have peace of mind that if he should ever be lost and someone finds him that his contact details are up to date and he will be reunited with us as soon as possible. Central Animal Records is a fantastic company, with exceptional staff and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Have moved house a few times since rescuing my two dogs. One of first things I ensure is that their details are updated with CAR. Simple efficient fast and friendly service that gives piece of mind that if either dog somehow gets out they will get home safely when found.

I promptly and mistakenly gave them a bad review based on information given by the bank after an issue with my credit card. However someone from Central Animal Records contacted me and in a kind manner showed empathy during the clarification of the events. I think it is more than fair to offer them an apology for my premature one-Star review and give them the right one. Thank you for your patience and support.
